A spectrum of fireweed…

Since I usually find beads in small batches, sometimes it seems like once I find the perfect bead for a specific design they suddenly become scarce or become discontinued. It may not be obvious in this picture but the multi color and two of the white fireweed charms have smaller flower beads which are already no longer available.
It may be time to begin making my own beads!

Introducing!

I’d like to begin to introduce you to my inspiration!

The jewelry and watercolor pencil pieces created in Golden Heart Studio draws inspiration from nature in Alaska’s Golden Heart, also known as the interior of Alaska. Specifically wildflowers, wild berries, garden flowers and Alaska’s solstice colors!

First, fireweed flowers~

Welcome!

I’m glad you are here! Let me tell you a bit about how I got started! I began crafting beaded jewelry and watercolor pencil drawings in 2007. After doing a few local craft shows and farmers market, a name change was in order because I felt compelled to describe where I find inspiration for my work with my name. Golden Heart Studio was born in 2014. Thank you for joining me!
